The Landscape Account Manager is responsible for overseeing relationships with key client account contacts, representing the company as a liaison between the client and the company. This role involves managing a portfolio of residential maintenance properties, coordinating and maintaining crews, and ensuring excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Work with clients to identify opportunities to improve and enhance their landscapes, including property walk-throughs and overall portfolio management
Coordinate and maintain crews for residential maintenance properties, ensuring efficient and safe operations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
Assess and propose additional services, such as tree trimming, seasonal color installations, landscape, and hardscape services, to increase revenue and grow accounts
Possess a thorough understanding of landscape maintenance principles, irrigation techniques, and hardscape installation services
Wear company uniform during work hours and ensure compliance by all workers under supervision
Continuously interface with clients to ensure all expectations are met
Operate and ensure safe and efficient use of all equipment and tools in the field
Maintain accurate records and reports, including job estimates, invoices, and customer communications
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and account growth
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of account management experience in the landscape industry
Horticultural and irrigation knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingualism
Experience with landscape design, installation, and construction
Knowledge of industry basics, such as landscape maintenance and landscape installation
Familiarity with industry software and technology
Salary Range
Ranges from $55,366 to $73,741, with an average base salary of $63,222.
